As a freelance project, I created a portfolio website of a medical student. I met with the client for a brief of what he was looking for. I listened to the client’s goals and purpose of this site. Once I had the needed information and resources, I created a Sketch file for the rough draft of the site and then met with client for critique, to ensure his goals were met. The client was looking for a platform to share his recent published writings, medical findings and resume in an easy to use, simple design so anyone could find information.

I decided on a simple black and white with rounded edges branding so the website would feel minimalistic and the viewer can focus on the client’s writings. I separated the website into 4 major sections; Home (with an about and resume to download), Research Projects (medical writings able to be downloaded with descriptions), Software Projects (including big data projects with descriptions), Contact (with mailto: buttons to directly contact). I still work with the client to update new writings and projects. I also designed his resume which can be seen here.

The website can be seen here. The GitHub repo can be found here.
